when a man arrives and checks into the hotel he arranges his clothes for the next day the only light switch in the room is across the room. Opposite the bed. He manages, however to turn off the light switch and make it comfortably to bed before the room gets dark. How is that possible?

I am going to UBC and staying in Totem Park (more specifically Dene house) and was wondering if anybody knows how much room is under the bed. In the pictures it looks like they are raised off the floor quite a bit. Has anyone stayed there?? I was wondering if I should bring storage bins to put underneath them?
