Tell them that you want a smaller room so you will get used to a smaller space and you will acquire less items so when you go to college and live in dorm you will be ok in a small room.

Try Lakeland, Florida, and places your relatives know families, and the towns they rent. These are friendly towns, and are never too expensive. The more popular the town, the higher the rent.
You know about those trailer parks being from NC, so rent in a nice, safe town.

I like smaller bedrooms. I chose to move my room to a smaller one because of that reason. It’s easier to keep track of things and I actually enjoy my room a lot more now.

Dont move there! I just left south Florida last year because the prices to rent a 1/1 are ridiculous! My rent was $1010.

having a smaller room is better. i have a fairly large room and i never keep it tidy theres just too much floor space to leave things on !

I have the smallest bedroom in my house & I love it…so here’s some advice on how to convince your parents (b/c it’s 100% worth it):
1) You’re more likely to keep your room organized b/c there’ll be LESS ROOM TO CLEAN.
2) The smaller the room, the better it traps heat, so possibly you won’t need to ask them to raise the heat as much when it gets cold (not sure where you live, but we have cold winters where i live), which means LOWER HEATING BILLS.
3) Ask YOUR NEPHEWS to say something. Even if they are only 2 or 3, you can ask them just to say they like the big room to play in.
4) BE REALLY GOOD to your parents for a while. If they see you’ve been working hard to please them, they might be more willing to give you what you want. Help with chores, offer to do stuff you normally complain about doing, etc…

I hear that in miami its close to the thousands.. even the ones that don’t look that nice. My friend’s cousin from pompano beach told us.. you’re lucky to find one for 6-800

smaller rooms are easier to heat and they are much easier to keep clean. Its also very comfy and less scary having a small room. and i think they should turn the bigger room into sumthing for your nephews. you are being generous and kind and you want them to get the bigger one. it is a much better decision to have a smaller room.
