KILLER asked:

I was wondering how much it would cost for a 1 bed room apartment in Miami or Tampa, i know that it depends but i just want any information it doesn’t have be specific. Like here in NC it would cost around $350-$550, so i want an answer kinda like this one.
the reason i am asking is because I have to stay in Tampa FL. for at least 2 years for a personal reason, thanks for the answers and wish me luck.

MIAMI - RIDICULOUS 1000 TO 1800 PER MONTH

    TAMPA - 700 TO 950 PER MONTH

in orlando it would be a minimum of about 600 and up to and over 1000. florida is not considered the best place to live right now — we have some of the most inflated real estate markets in the country — and the wages are probably comperable to north carolina if not less — lots of minimum wage jobs here. you can research rent prices at apartments.com — fyi atlanta is cheaper to live in than most of florida right now.

ridiculous! Miami and Tampa are high places to rent, but if you move to a smaller place, Sarasota, St Pete etc. you may get by with less than 1000.00 per month for a nice place. Check out the Miami Herald website and the Tampa Tribune.

    about $900/month

Miami *****! to live in…A 1/1 in Miami will cost around $900-$1100. If you find something cheaper than that, then you are blessed, or the place is actually a duplex or in a horrible neighborhood.

I hear that in miami its close to the thousands.. even the ones that don’t look that nice. My friend’s cousin from pompano beach told us.. you’re lucky to find one for 6-800

Dont move there! I just left south Florida last year because the prices to rent a 1/1 are ridiculous! My rent was $1010.

  8. MARISSA Di Says:

Try Lakeland, Florida, and places your relatives know families, and the towns they rent. These are friendly towns, and are never too expensive. The more popular the town, the higher the rent.
You know about those trailer parks being from NC, so rent in a nice, safe town.

$650 is a good starting price.
